Established in 1993 as APP Group, the company has been known as Ness Czech since 2003, becoming a key driver of public administration electronization, citizen services, and corporate process digitalization.
Over its three-decade history, Ness has completed more than 2,500 projects for over 150 customers. Among its most notable clients are the Czech Office of Surveying and Cadastre, telecommunications leader O2, and Komerční Banka. Its current flagship project is with the Railway Administration, marking its largest undertaking to date.

From APP Group to Ness Czech
Ness’s journey began with APP Group in 1993, a pivotal player in the nascent Czech IT market. APP’s early focus on large-scale IT projects for energy, telecommunications, finance, and public administration sectors laid the foundation for Ness Czech’s success.
In 2002, APP Group acquired Ness Technologies, strengthening its presence in Central and Eastern Europe. By 2003, Ness Czech was established as part of APP, enabling cross-European collaboration.
The company expanded further in 2008 by acquiring Logos, a Czech consulting and technology firm specializing in financial and telecommunications sectors. This acquisition brought together two major players in the industry and introduced new talent, including current CEO Martin Silvička. Over his 18-year tenure at Ness, Silvička has progressed from project management to leading the company as its CEO since March 2022.

As part of the international Ness Digital Engineering group, Ness Czech has access to extensive global resources and expertise, including opportunities presented by its parent company’s acquisition by the American investment group KKR in 2022.
