Prague, August 10, 2022 – Consultants from Ness Czech, a leading system integrator, conducted a comprehensive assessment of the Business Intelligence (BI) landscape for the EUC Healthcare Group, the largest provider of healthcare for employers and operator of the largest network of outpatient clinics in the Czech Republic.
The expert team evaluated the data warehouse, reporting, and the overall BI solution, focusing on four critical areas:
- Data management and governance
- Architecture and infrastructure
- Processes and requirements lifecycle
- Human resources
Each area was assessed on a five-level maturity scale, identifying operational risks with critical impacts on future development. The consultants also proposed steps to mitigate these risks, offered strategic recommendations, and explored the potential of deploying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to enhance the EUC Group’s operations.
Comprehensive Recommendations
The output of the assessment was a detailed, independent expert report that included:
- An evaluation of the current state of BI maturity.
- A roadmap for advancing BI capabilities in key areas.
- Identification of operational risks, their severity, and mitigation steps.
- Recommendations for developing the overall BI solution, including “quick wins” for immediate impact.
The assessment, completed in just six weeks by a dedicated team of two Ness Czech consultants, involved a combination of documentation review, workshops, and in-depth code analysis.
