In the past, MRP was often run overnight, with the hope that it would complete without issues by the morning. With HANA, MRP can be run multiple times a day, providing more accurate and up-to-date insights into order processing status, leading to quicker and more informed decision-making.
S/4 stands for “SAP Business Suite 4,” which refers to the suite of applications designed to leverage the speed and power of the HANA database.
